Beautiful wrinkled hands

Beautiful wrinkled hands 
Spots here and there 
But, with each spot is a new story
A story on how these beautiful hands did so much
They cooked dinner
They wiped tears
They did bunny ears while tying shoes
They held little hands while crossing the street
They made a peaceful home
They folded in prayer while little eyes rested
They will forever be cherished 
Because wherever these hands were needed they were there
So……… even if they don’t look like they once were
Remember the hearts these beautiful hands have touched.
